Globe Trotting

Photos by Sebastian Marin

Tunic- Vintage, Clutch and Shoes- Aldo, Sunnies and green cuff- Forever21, Eagle skull ring- Urban Outfitters, Beaded Cuff- Jamaica, Indian ring- Thrifted

I have no idea what part of the world this tunic originates from but I am in love! Found it in the international section of the thrift store--- there are always so many beautiful intricate beaded fabrics and colorful textiles that look like patterns straight from the runway.  Instead of spend hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars on a piece from a "globally inspired" designer collection that goes straight to a corporation, I'd rather own the real thing (or support a project like this).

Okay, getting off the soapbox now. The weekend starts on Thursday in my book, hope you all have something fun planned :)

  1. oh wow. that dress is absolutely stunning. the embroidery is SO intricate! GREAT thrift find!!

  2. the dress has a ridiculously amazing print. this tribal theme can be pricey but you'd be surprised by some thrifting, like you've done. its one of a kind and stunning.

  3. wow that dress is amazing!!! great post. now following :)

I need your help. I spend another survey but this time with another question.
"Where do you prefer to shop? What is your favorite shopping center?"
