On Repeat

Dress and Tights- Forever21, Blazer- Express, Booties- UrbanOG.com

We live our life in reliable, go-to uniforms (as much as we public school-bred kids try to assert the opposite!). For me way back in the day, it used to be flower leggings, a T-shirt, and keds (and countless colored scrunchies. Hot!)-- eventually it was flare jeans, a zip up hoodie and puma sneakers (thought I was being cool and European)--It seems that tights, a mini dress, jacket and booties have taken over!  I realized this after flipping through the past couple of posts (and thinking that I could fool myself just by changing the color of tights for today)--- time for a change! "Familiarity breeds a kind of complacency," whether it's in school, at work, at the gym, or in your closet!

P.S. This doesn't mean i'm going on a reckless shopping spree (though I am very tempted!) or that I'll never wear this combination again--- just time to mix things up a bit!

  1. I like this new mix up! the tights add a nice touch and interest. I know uniforms are our go to outfits when we cant just cant think of anything innovative that day. I must say these days I'm really liking this uniform!
