I know it's hard to tell from these pictures but the piping on this dress is a metallic gold! It originally had big poofy sleeves and was considerably longer---I'm all for a little poof, but this was too much! The temperature has been averaging 90-100+ degrees in DC, so lopping off sleeves/hems seems a reasonable course of action.
I will say no more about these shoes except... they come in 8 more colors and I am fighting an intense inner (losing) battle not to get more! The $29 price tag is making this difficult...
