Till' Death do us Part

Nothing like a good pair of "foot bricks"

Photos by Sebastian Marin

Sweater- Vintage (La Petite Marmoset), Shorts- Urban Outfitters, Necklace- Forever21, Clutch- Violet Boutique, Wedges- Urbanog.com

Yes, I've worn this clutch for the past few weeks of posts, and no, I don't intend on stopping anytime soon! (unless someone directs me to a nice neon green one) I'm not much of an accessory person (besides shoes) and have the habit of using the same jewelry/bags until they meet an untimely death (i.e. eaten by the crevices in my car, drowning in a muddy parking lot puddle, melted chocolate smeared interiors, trapped at a friends apartment that I forgot, and just plain old wear and tear).  Perhaps this means I need to take better care of my things. I call it the accessory circle of life :)

UPDATE: Congrats to the Marymount Girls on winning our Campus Style Challenge!

**Lots of new goodies added to the store this past weekend--  Please enjoy this picture of our models testing their trampoline skills at our past shoot:

Happy Monday! :)

Cavewoman

I love this photo Sebastian took while we were at the farm this weekend!

All photos by Sebastian Marin

Fur Cape, blazer, blouse and clutch- Vintage, Trousers- Zara, Heels- Cooperative (Via Urban Outfitters)

I am woman. Hear me roar-- I hunted down 100 rabbits to make this cape with my bare hands!

This is not actually the case, but it makes for a much more interesting story than "I hunted it down while searching for vintage.Either way I was ecstatic to find it!  Seriously... it's fur...and a cape... this is possibly better than the leather and zig zag striped coat (And who doesn't want to feel like a bad ass cave woman?).
Spent this past lovely weekend at a farm with The President Wears Prada, Ashley, Alejandra, and Spicy Candy DC for a photoshoot for NOVA magazine--- everything looked so magical covered in snow!  The final product doesn't come out for a few months (counting down the days!)-- so honored that Ashley and I got to be part of it!  As you can see, I played an integral role in making sure everyone stayed on task:

Happy Monday!! Check www.lpmvintage.com to see some of our newest vintage and reconstructed vintage pieces :)
