Orange Overload

Are your craving cheetos from all the orange in this post yet? (I know I am!)

Blazer- Thrifted, Dress- Vintage, Glasses- Forever21, Turquoise Ring- gifted, Platforms- Jessica Simpson

Whenever I see a long floaty feminine dress like this one, my initial instinct is to slap a belt on and wear it with my straw fedora. Easy, safe, and flattering. This time the color struck me-- it was reminiscent of Jil Sander's show stopping spring looks many of us have been coveting. While the dress's cut is definitely not as modern and minimalist and I don't have a royal purple blazer, I still thought I'd give these pieces a shot at interpreting the look.  The result: I love it! It's complete color therapy-- kind of hard not to feel extra cheerful when dressed head to toe in crayola brights :)

  4. Oh, such awesome bold colors. Through bloggers, I'm seeing that mixing bold colors is usually really awesome, but I'm still perfectly comfortable with my usual palettes of neutral + pop. heh. Lovely outfit though.
