Got to Break Free!

Coat-Zara, Sweater- My brother's, Scarf-Thrifted, Belt- Dad's, Skirt- yard sale, shoes- Jeffrey Campbell

Bought this skirt at a community yard sale a few years back from a family who was also selling "Obama-brownies"  (they were to raise money for his campaign, but in retrospect, that was probably a poor choice of pastry). I donated but declined the brownies, having harnessed the strength against all things sweet.   

Wish I had that same power today! There is a stocking downstairs full of chocolate (Correction: was full) with my name on it begging to be eaten. I've since moved on to invading neighboring stockings (mom still fills one for our dog that passed away 2 years ago, what else was I supposed to do?). I think my mom knows that if she reminds me that she has candy, I'm more likely to stop by (she's totally right). The holidays are over, I need to get away! The longer I stay here, the more I find myself covered in green and red hershey's kiss wrappers!
