Junk in the Trunk

Jacket- Vintage, Tank- Tennis, Pants- Forever21, Boots- Bakers, Rings- Vintage

These rings are courtesy of my friend Anna, who works for a collectibles dealer--think old juke boxes, pinball machines, vinyl records, and posters.  On one of his trips to pick up some vintage wares, the dealer was presented with a huge box that contained a 60's jewelry kit! I was glad to find out that Anna got to keep it (the dealer considered it junk) and she was kind enough to invite me to rummage through the box in her car trunk yesterday. (Probably looked like we were conducting sketchy business). Opening the box was like entering jewelry heaven (cue angelic music)-- there were ceramic pendants, long gold chains, rings, all kinds of goodies! I spy a DIY...

  1. The nail polish works so well with those rings! Glad to see you're a fan of statement jewelry. Just FYI, your comment to me got flagged as spam because you put the link back to your blog in it. All you have to do is link your name when you comment and everyone will know how to find you. Getting deleted as spam probably cancels out any benefit from putting the extra link into the body of your comment.

  4. What a great post! I love the detail in the last photo. The way the colour of our nail polish come out so much more against the turqoise ring! Just exquisite!
